Wired Intelligent Edge

Attempts to upgrade a 3500yl-48G PoE switch (J8683A) using the menu or CLI repeatably fail with the above message.

Old primary is K.12.16, new is K_15_12_0012.swi

 

Switch has licenses (OSPF, VRRP etc), and I downloaded the licenses version of the new firmware.

 

Clues welcome.

I think you will need to go through several iterations (and it will say exactly what is required in the readme file!)

Most likely K12 --> K13 --> K14 --> K15
