Are you in Central? Or looking in the networking support portal?
There is no longer a single recommended software version. Central is recommending firmware based on the platform (AP model, switch model, etc).
With Central, you will see the recommended version in Central.
In the networking support portal, under Notifications, you can subscribe to the different categories to get email alerts when new firmware versions are released.
