Hi I am working on network design for my organisation and of of the requirements is to have TOR switches in MLAG setup instead of IRF.

I would like to know if HPE 5945 support MLAG as I can't find any configurations for it

    Thanks

    Alex

    Hi Alex.

There is no MLAG concept in Comware as you find it in CX. You need to have IRF and then just create Bridge-Aggregation interface over two or more switches in IRF. This has the same functionality as MLAG in VSX.

    Hi gents.

Looks like it's not true. 5945 supports the MLAG and IRF is not the same as MLAG.

Starting from 7.10.R6x version it is MLAG. Before it was called DRCI. In my DC I use 5940 and MLAG configuration is working fine.

    Hi Anton.

You are completely right. There are MLAGs on Comware I just didn't use them. You can find configuration examples in DRNI Configuration guide

    Hi,

Maybe DRNI can meet your needs?
