  • 1.  IRF unrecognized command

    I Just got 8 new HP a5120-24g (JE066A) switches, When i was trying to configure irf it says unrecognized irf command.

    I've tried to upgrade the firmware but no luck. I can't find any commands related to irf except "chassis convert mode irf "

    old version: 5.20 (2208P01)

    new version: 5.20.99 (2220P02-US)

    The 5120-EI range only support IRF on the 10Gig ports. So, if you buy the JE066A rather than (say) the JE068A, you're out of luck.

    Thanks Richard,

     

    We already bought 8 JE066A, on HP Web site they clearly said that A5120 does supports IRF. Anyway we already made misteke of buying HP 5120.
