    Hi
    I wonder configuration of ProCurve switches using loop-protection ability.
    it is appropriate to use the following setup in a 10-port switch.

     

    spanning-tree

    spanning-tree 1-8 bpdu-filter

    loop-protect ethernet 1-8 receiver-action send-disable

    loop-protect trap loop-detected

     

    Or, what sould i do or dont?
