    Hello,

Is it necessary to set up a loopback IP address on a controller is an IP for a VLAN is configured and used as the controller IP address?

Also in case Loopback should be set and used as the controller IP, does that mean in case of VRRP redundancy the Loopback IPs are to be used in VRRP instance?

You do not have to configure a loopback in a L2 model. You can use the VLAN interface as the controller IP and also for the VRRP instance.

If you are using OSPF routing on the controller, you should configure a loopback.
