Mobility Conductor/Mobility Controller AOS Upgrades

    Hi All,

    Is anyone running version 8.8.0.0 or 8.8.0.1 on their Mobility Conductor and Controllers? Have you had any issues during the upgrade process or following the upgrade for the users? We are looking at upgrading from 8.6.0.4 in the near future so any gotchas would be helpful, especially for user side issues.

    Also, any idea how long it would take to complete? The wireless network this upgrade will be on is 1000+ APs.

    The fastest upgrade would be a "standard" upgrade, which is NOT a live upgrade. 

    How fast that would occur depends on your infrastructure.  A good rule of thumb is how long previous upgrades have taken (not live upgrade). 

    There are many factors that would affect whether an upgrade is successful or not from 8.6 to 8.8, like whether you have existing issues, specific configurations, etc...  You should open a TAC case to see if anything you are doing would fundamentally block you from successfully upgrading.
