  • 1.  Moving a cluster to Aruba Central

    Posted 3 days ago

    I have a cluster of approx 75 Instant AP's running version 8.
We are looking to move them to Aruba Central for management.
Is it as simple as applying the licences and allowing them to join central and retain their configuration or will they join and need configuring from scratch?
They currently have static IP's so losing that would need me to create a DHCP scope etc.
Not fussed if they lose their SSID's as that would be fairly easy to add again in Central.
Just want to be armed with as much info as possible as dont want to have to physically access each one should there be an issue.

yes it is pretty straight forward,  when you create a group in Classic central you can import the configuration for IAPs.

you can refer to the online guide. "Creating a New Group by Importing Configuration from a Device"
