Can anyone give me any info on the differences in the ProCurve 2626 switch revisons,ie., J4900A, J4900B, and J4900C. Partsurfer shows the J4900A as no longer supported by HP as of 6/1/10. Would I be able to replaced a failed J4900B with a J4900A?

Helo Mike,
if you use fiber GBIC and the Revision A Switch detect them you can use this device.
Take care if you want to copy the configuration to the Revision A Switch you must change the first line in your config.
