  • 1.  Role not applying on AOS8.7

    Hi All,

    I'm probably missing something simple here but that's how it goes at times.

    We're moving from AOS 6 to 8 - I have the Mobility Managers setup and a controller so I can start fresh and clean up.  I have a single test SSID setup and move a few 'spare' licenses across (AP, PEF and RF Protect).

    I can authenticate fine with clearpass but no roles assignments are being applied.  I have clearpass configured the same way as before and a RFC3576 setup (pointing to clearpass).

    On the controller I get the log "authmgr[3656]:<124867><3656><WARN> | authmgr | Authentication type 8021x-User not supported for role download" error.

    Can anyone point me in what I'm missing

    In the 802.1x profile turn off "enforce machine authentication"
