    As part of preparing our infrastructure to support a Panasonic VoIP system, we are upgrading several of our HP ProCurve switches. These are switches, which are almost 10 years old.

    Our core L3 switch is an HP 5300XL.

    The old switches will be replaced with models;

     HPE 1920-8G-PoE+(180w) Switch JG922A

    HPE OfficeConnect 1920S 48G 4SFP PPoE+ 370W Switch

    HPE OfficeConnect 1920S 24G 2SFP PPoE+ 185W Switch

    I can see from specs of the switches that all support QoS – would anyone disagree?

    We already have a couple of new 1920s, and must say that the web GUI isn't a patch on the CLI abilities of our other ProCurve switches. Whilst it isn't a huge issue, due to the ability to enable the CLI on the 1900s, from the opinions of others it just 'isn't the same'.

    So, a number of others have recommended the 2530s over the 1920s. Do I need to get over the CLI issue, and go with the 1920s - has anyone run into functionality issues with these switches, when used to support a VoIP system?

    Many thanks.
