Controllerless Networks

Have a cluster of IAP315's..an application we use requires UDP port 80 in the form of discovery.. the app sends a beacon to the clients on the same subnet.. this works hardwired and wireless off a mobile hotspot. but not an SSID off the Aruba.  Firewall wide open for sake of troubleshooting..could something in the default configuration be blocking this?

Broadcast Filtering needs to be disabled on that SSID, otherwise it will not work.  Looking forward, you probably need to find an application that does not rely on broadcast or multicast traffic over wireless.  Broadcast and multicast causes serious degradation of wireless traffic.
