  • 1.  Using RW/US AP's interchangebly

Hello - Is there a way to use RW/US AP's in different countries? I heard that if I had a controller I could set up my AP's to work in whatever country I was in.

With a controller it will work, although you may get in trouble with authorities/customs when you pass the border. You are not allowed to have a -US AP in countries that are Rest-of-World, and vice versa (in most countries). Don't know what happens if you remove the sticker... In Instant mode it is a definitive no-go.

Also note that a US controller should not terminate APs that are outside US territories, and RW controller should not terminate APs that are in US. Which technically may work if you have an international WAN; but is just not allowed.

In short: US components should only reside in US territories and only work together with other US components. RW components should only reside outside US territories and only work together with other RW components.
