I set regular vlan.But I get line protocol and interface current state Down.

Vlan-interface11 current state: DOWN

Line protocol current state:DOWN

Description: NT

The Maximum Transmit Unit is 1500

Internet Address is 10.4.11.254/24 Primary

IP Packet Frame Type: PKTFMT_ETHNT_2, Hardware Address: 0020-9c6b-a72b

IPv6 Packet Frame Type: PKTFMT_ETHNT_2, Hardware Address: 0020-9c6b-a72b

I can’t get what its wrong.

Is there any host connected to the switch using the VLAN 11? Is there a trunk port that permits the traffic passing of VLAN 11? If there's no host connected to a port using the VLAN 11 or trunk ports up with the VLAN 11 permitted, the interface VLAN 11 will not came up.

Until u not connect network device to the switch port with this vlan, state status is DOWN.
