I completed the VRRP configuration fully, and when testing the failover scenario, all configuration appeared on the backup device. However, the WLAN/SSID section was empty. What could be the reason for this?

you need to provide more info. you have posted in controller-less discussion group but I am assuming you are are talking about controllers.

Thanks for your reply, I posted in the wrong place. There are 2 standby controllers, and I configured them with L2 redundancy. After completing the entire configuration without any issues, I shut down the master device to test the failover scenario. However, I couldn't see the WLANs on the backup device. Apart from this, all configurations were present and complete.

Which software version are you using? AOS8? Sounds like you are using the old master/standby master setup. Is that correct?

Are you using the Mobility Conductor? If not, the master controller deployment model is not support since version 8.7. I believe you can still configure it but officially it's not supported.

Thanks for your explanation. So, in version 8.10, I cannot configure VRRP without using a Mobility Conductor, did I understand that correctly?

You can still configure it but it is not supported anymore.

If you really want this kind of setup please you the master-local setup. That was a common deployment model during the AOS6 time. However, I recommended you to look into the setup with a Mobility Conductor.

It's not recommended, but it seems like it would still work without issues - that's how I understand it. So why aren't the SSIDs appearing?

The only reason I can think of is missing licenses.

If you are attempting a standalone pair with synchronized configuration then you must:

    1. Have a VRRP configured between the two
    2. Have database synchronization configured and reference the VRRP instance
    3. Perform all configuration that should be synchronized at the /mm level of the controller rather than 'mynode'
