Using a 3Com Baseline Switch 2948-SFP Plus on an office network. We have a IT room with patch cables connected to the switch so we can work on many office PCs at once or ghost multiple PCs. I'm newly hired intern and they have been having connectivity issues for some time with the switch where when we connect a PC to it we have to /release /renew in the command line to get connectivity. Is this normal? Is the switch possibly configured incorrectly?
