  • 1.  HP 5940 ARP Table Entry Limit

    Hi,

    Just looking to know the size of the ARP table  on HP 5940 Switch series.

    It's impossible to find it on DataSheets.

    ARP Table size should be 16k to 120k. MAC Table size could grow up to 288k. Those values for the entire HPE 5940 Switch series.

    ARP :

    • 128K entries • 1K static entries

    MAC:

    • 288K MAC addresses • 1K static MAC addresses

    Hello all, does anyone have the same numbers for the HP5930? I think it is 16384 based on the arp max-learning-number command but this seems very low compared to other metrics such as MAC table and route table limits.

    Probably a long shot but does anyone have the ARP table limit for the Provision HP5400z?
