Hello All,

I need to setup mac-address authentication on 5400. I want to create a pool of mac -addresses and authorize them to use any port on the hp switch.

Another thing that i might want to do in the future is to restrict individual port access by mac- address.

Can someone please give me the command to do this.

you make very easily this command

example
(config)#port-security a1-a24 learn-mode static address-limit 1 action send-disable

a1-a24 (interfaces )

learn mode static (dynamic learn mac address and switch keep mac address)

address-limit (how match mac address permision on port max.32 mac address )

action send-disable (to want different mac connection port ,is port turn disable state
